ALTO is a floaty, lightweight camisole that’s easy to sew—designed to give you a truly calm sewing moment… with a finish worthy of handmade lingerie.
A clean bust dart, a neat V-neckline, elastic binding applied without rippling, and properly finished adjustable straps: nothing complicated, just a delicate, wearable, polished result.

A feminine, versatile, comfortable pattern—perfect as a base layer, a summer top, or a lounge piece depending on the fabric you choose.

🧷 FABRIC, NOTIONS & YARDAGE

Recommended fabrics

• Fluid viscose jersey
• Modal jersey
• Bamboo jersey
• Light viscose knit
• Lightweight cotton jersey (160–180 g/m²)
• Lace option: lightweight stretch lace for the yoke (if you choose version A)

Avoid thick fabrics, heavy jerseys, and overly stiff materials: ALTO should stay soft, fluid, and comfortable.

Required stretch

At least 10% stretch for a neckline that sits correctly (stretch test included in the booklet).

Yardage (140 cm width)

50 cm for all sizes
Lace option: a piece at least 40 × 6 cm

🔧 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Sewing machine only: enough

– straight stitch (seams)
– classic zigzag or 3-step zigzag (binding, straps)

ALTO can be sewn entirely on a sewing machine.

Serger/overlocker: optional

Useful for the sides or edges if you want to go faster and get clean seam allowances, but absolutely not required to succeed with the pattern.
