FIVE – THE READY-TO-GO JACKET

FIVE is a structured and versatile jacket, designed for sewists who want to progress without getting lost.
It combines professional finishes (full lining, zipper, various pockets) with a clean, urban, and wearable everyday cut.
You can sew it in a short or long version, in technical, cozy, or chic fabrics depending on the desired style.

Versions: short or long, with pocket options depending on level.

🧷 FABRIC, NOTIONS & YARDAGE

Recommended fabrics (outer)

• Fleece sweatshirt

• French terry

• Knit velvet

• Bouclette knit

• Thin softshell / flexible waterproof fabric

• Lightweight quilted nylon

• Soft boiled wool

Lining

• Milano / Ponte / heavy jersey

• Cozy knit / thin sherpa

• Viscose or acetate for a lighter finish

Fabric requirements (140 cm width)

• Main fabric: 140 cm (allow 150 cm for thick fabrics or tricky patterns)

• Lining: 130 cm (150 cm recommended for margin)

Zippers

• 1 non-separating 12 cm zipper (chest pocket)

• 1 separating zipper: 60 cm (long version) or 50 cm (short version)

🔧 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

• Sewing machine: required
  – straight stitch for all assembly
  – zigzag stitch for finishing edges if necessary (but not required thanks to the lining)

• Serger: not needed
  FIVE is designed to be sewn entirely on a sewing machine.
  All seams are enclosed in the lining → no serging is required.
